Aurora + Finn-A Dark Fairytale Wedding
Dramatic, enchanting and moody, this Dark Fairytale Wedding photoshoot is one of the most uniquely romantic and artistic productions I have ever been fortunate enough to participate in.
Ari Dee and Matthiu Verlust are a real life engaged couple, and together they make a beautiful and charismatic Auroura and Finn, the characters in our Fairytale.
As the wedding gown and headpiece designer, my part in retrospect seems very simple…The black hemp/silk bias mermaid gown, the beaded wool and jet beaded headpiece, the beaded velvet choker, and the long reincarnated black sweater coat were all perfect and easy choices for our dark beauty. The rest of it is a collaboration of pure magic.
Art Directior and photographer Jenn Spain of Rawtography assembled a stellar team of talented artists who each brought their own unique sense of design and creativity to bring the story to life. The images speak for themselves!
