Dracula
Bram Stoker's Dracula 1897 - Photography adaptation-A feast for the senses

This cinematic photoshoot reimagines Bram Stoker’s original Dracula (1897) through haunting visuals, rich costume design, and collaborative storytelling.
Creative collaborations like this feed my soul. Sometimes I organize them myself, and sometimes I get to step into someone else’s artistic vision. This shoot was dreamed up and brought to life by my uber-talented friends Autumn and Bill Stankay of Skysight Photography.

In their retelling, two of my gowns are worn by Lucy and Mina, the central female characters.
🩸 The Cinderella Gown — a beaded wool and organic linen empire-waist gown
🩸 The Lucy Gown — beaded wool, English net, and silk, also in empire-waist silhouette

I also created Dracula’s dramatic cape and the handmade crystal-and-semi-precious-stone cross Van Helsing offers Lucy for protection.
It’s hard to pick a favorite moment — every frame is a painting.
