The Elinor Flutter Front Parachute Jacket

Named after Elinor Smith, the youngest licensed pilot of her time and the first woman to fly under all four East River bridges.

The Elinor is a lightweight, feminine jacket with a fitted silhouette, long sleeves, and a softly draped flutter front.

Crafted from retired military parachutes, it’s airy yet warm enough for layering on cool evenings, making it an effortless travel companion.

Light as air and whisper-soft, these upcycled parachute jackets are easy to hand- or machine-wash, dry quickly, and transition seamlessly from day to evening. Seam details vary with the original construction of each parachute, revealing hints of its history.
