The Saltie Mermaid Bride: Erin's Seawitch Wedding Gown

✨A Vision from the Sea

“I’m engaged! Would you design my gown?

A seawitch mermaid pagan gown for our wedding at Castell de Tamarit, Spain, a castle overlooking the Mediterranean Sea... I would like to incorporate colors from the sea in the train. And a cape.”

Erin Saltman, aka Saltie Mermaid, is a one-of-a-kind bride. Not only did she have a clear vision of what she wanted, but I understood it completely. Design ideas play like movies in my mind. As she spoke, I saw the dress—a bustier-based gown with a body-conscious mermaid silhouette and a long, dramatic train. I could see the colors. The cape would come later.
