I’m heading back to my home state of Minnesota for a trunkshow, November 21–23, at one of the most eclectic and soulful boutiques I’ve ever known: La Rues in Minneapolis.
I’ve worked with owner Kathy Lawrow since my very first brand incarnation—as a belt designer. Kathy is a uniquely gifted curator with a passion for natural fibers, artisan fashion, and soulful expression. Her store is known not just for its indie designer offerings, but for its almost magical, healing vibe.
Kathy has carried my work for over 30 years, from those early belt years through my many evolutions—organic and sustainable collections, deadstock fabrics, and my signature upcycled pieces: applique cashmere sweaters, vintage denim, and retired military parachute skirts.
